Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

You must hold a current, valid South Australian learner's permit (or eligible interstate/overseas licence for conversion lessons) for every lesson booked. I may decline to conduct a lesson, without refund, if you cannot produce a valid permit/licence on the day.

2. Booking & Payment

• Your first lesson must be booked and paid for online.
• Further online bookings are paid the same way. If you'd prefer to pay by cash or with PayID for future lessons, this can be arranged by phone or in person.

3. Cancellations

• Cancel with at least 24 hours' notice for a full refund.
• Cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or fail to attend, and the full lesson fee applies.
• To cancel, call 0485 991 001.

4. Rescheduling

• Reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge.
• Less than 24 hours' notice is treated the same as a late cancellation, and the full lesson fee applies.

5. Our Guarantee

“Love your first lesson, or your money back.” If you complete your first lesson and aren't satisfied, get in touch within 7 days and I'll refund your lesson fee in full. This guarantee covers all standard driving lessons, though official VORT test sessions and pre-test warm-ups are excluded.

6. Driving Tests (VORT)

Driving tests are conducted by an independent Authorised Examiner, not by me. Each examiner sets their own cancellation and refund terms, which may differ from the terms above. I will always try to help you arrange a refund if you need to cancel a test, but this is ultimately at the examiner's discretion and cannot be guaranteed.

7. Use of Vehicle for Testing

Use of my vehicle for your driving test is included when your test is booked through me. If you arrange your test independently, vehicle use may still be available on request, subject to availability.

8. Conduct & Safety

• Lessons may be ended early, without refund, if a learner's conduct puts safety at risk (e.g. refusing to follow safety instructions, being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or persistent unsafe behaviour after warnings have been given).
• Seatbelts must be worn at all times.
• I reserve the right to refuse or end a lesson if I reasonably believe it is unsafe to continue.

9. Instructor-Side Cancellations

If I need to cancel a lesson (illness, unsafe weather/road conditions, vehicle issues), you'll be offered a full refund or a rescheduled lesson at no extra cost — your choice.

10. Liability & Insurance

• Lessons are conducted in a dual-control vehicle for your safety, and every reasonable care is taken throughout.
• The vehicle is comprehensively insured for use in paid driving instruction. In the event of an accident, my insurer will handle the claim in the usual way.

11. Qualifications

I hold a current Motor Driving Instructor's (MDI) licence issued by the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, South Australia, and a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the SA Department of Human Services.

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be available on this website.
